Life Inside

The cold, gray walls trap you. Time drags. Each day appears the last: a monotonous routine punctuated by rations and counts. Communication with the outside society is severely curtailed. Loneliness becomes your constant companion. You fight for purpose in this restricted existence.

You try to keep a sense of self. There are flickers of humanity: a unexpectedly compassionate guard, a brief conversation with another cellmate, the seldom seen kindness of a visitor. But these moments are fleeting, quickly swallowed by the unforgiving reality of prison life.

The weight of your actions presses on you. Forgiveness feel like distant, elusive fantasies. You contemplate if you'll ever truly break free, not just from the bars, but from the mental prison that trap you within.

The Weight of Conviction and Consequence

A belief is a potent thing. It can fuel actions, ignite passions, and guide us toward our goals. However, each conviction carries with prison it an inherent weight.
